Select by Protein Domain

This page begins a search for reference mRNAs whose translated amino acid sequences contain a conserved protein domain that you specify. Given that there are over six thousand known domains and each may have been given different names or abbreviations, we have broken down the search into three steps. Step 1 asks that you enter up to three specific domains that have to be present in the protein to be selected. If you are not familiar with the domain names, you may first view the complete list of domains below. Step 2 allows you to view a returned list of all domains that match your requested description, and to further select the one that exactly matches your interest. Step 3 allows you to view each of the reference mRNAs that have the selected protein domains present in its translated sequence, and informs you of the name of OriGene's full-length clone for that reference.

Step 1

Please enter the domain name in the box below. If you are searching for proteins with more than one conserved domain, you have to specify each of the domains in a separate box.

1st domain name:
2nd domain name:
3rd domain name:
If you provide more than one domain name, the search will return only mRNAs that have all specified domains; the domains may be in any position relative to each other.

Search type: broad exact
(Select 'exact' if you are certain that the InterPro name, or its corresponding Smart or Pfam abbreviation, you entered is correct. If you are not certain, select 'broad'.)
